Galvanized:
The process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel, to prevent rusting. We use the most common method of hot-dip galvanization, in which parts are submerged in a bath of molten zinc. Galvanizing protects in two ways:
- It forms a coating of corrosion-resistant zinc which prevents corrosive substances from reaching the more delicate part of the metal
- The zinc serves as a sacrificial anode so that even if the coating is scratched, the exposed steel will still be protected by the remaining zinc.
Our galvanized sets are all inspected to reduce the amount of effects from the hot-dipping process. They’re also left in the post galvanization stage without any additional paint.
Powder Coated:
The powder coating finish is tougher than conventional paint.

The benefits of powder coating for consumers are simple: powder coating will make your purchase look better and last longer.
Our powder coating finish doesn’t get the galvanization treatment. If by chance the powder coat paint is chipped or damaged; the exposed steel will not be protected.
